Each cake is a private commission — an edible portrait of your love story, crafted entirely by hand in our London atelier.
Sucré & Silk was born from a simple belief: that a wedding cake should be as extraordinary as the moment it celebrates. Our founder, Élise Marchand, trained under the finest patissiers in Paris before bringing her craft to London in 2014.
Every cake begins with a conversation — your love story, your aesthetic, the feeling you want guests to hold in their memory. We then spend weeks translating that vision into spun sugar, hand-sculpted flowers, and flavours that sing.
No two cakes are ever the same. Each is a private commission, created entirely by Élise and her small team of artisans in our Notting Hill atelier.
Every flavour pairing is developed over months of testing. We source the finest ingredients — Madagascan vanilla, Valrhona chocolate, fresh elderflower from English gardens.
Book a TastingOur cake was the first thing every single guest commented on. It was so breathtakingly beautiful that our photographer said she had never spent so long photographing a cake. It tasted even better than it looked — which we genuinely did not think possible.
Élise listened to everything. She understood immediately that I wanted something wildly romantic but still elegant. The cascade of sugar flowers was so lifelike that my mother-in-law tried to smell them. Truly magical work from a true artist.
We wanted something different — dark, modern, a bit unexpected. The Chocolat Noir cake was exactly that. Our guests were stunned. The tasting session was also one of the loveliest afternoons of our entire wedding planning process.
We only accept a limited number of commissions each season to ensure every couple receives the attention their cake deserves. We'd love to hear about your wedding.
